On August 7, the day after he submitted 86 or so thousand signatures for a referendum to limit Chicago mayor to two terms, former governor Pat Quinn showed up at First Tuesday to talk politics.
Needless to say, Mayor Rahm, the target of that petition drive, was not on hand. But Gregory Livingston, who led the protest march that shut down North Lake Shore Drive, shared the stage with the former governor.
